So what do you all/have you all used for sleeping surfaces for toddlers that can be made to not take up much space when not in use? (I am not myself generally fond of air mattresses, but suspect they're the only practical option.) Ideally something low to the ground, as SteelyKid is a thrasher.

(I don't actually think that she slept for no more than one hour at a time between 1:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. last night because her cot was uncomfortable; but she's clearly outgrowing it anyway so might as well ask now.)

Anyway, any suggestions, particularly specific items, welcomed.

For _travel_? Craziness.

We used a Baby Bjorn travel crib until Maya got too big for it, and now we just use a self-inflating Thermarest on the floor.
