Do any of you have Watchful 30 and are not yet Seeking Mr Eaten's Name? [Edit: with an account that's linked to Twitter or FB, even if you now log in with an email address?] I'd like to send an invite to such a person—it will increase your Nightmares (of course I'd be happy to help you reduce them) and give you Seeking Mr Eaten's Name, which I believe you can thereafter ignore if you don't actually want to pursue it, or you can use cards to remove it at a cost. Of course if you're not actually playing any more, it doesn't matter . . .

(We are promised Bad Things will happen in the quest, but heck, it's a game and I'm curious, and I need to recruit other people to the madness to progress.)

EllieHypatia is the character I'm currently most involved with. By which I mean I accidentally created a new one when I meant to log in with my previous main one and then I discovered that there's a fuckton of new content at low levels (probably also available at high levels, I haven't checked), and I forgot my logins for the various other accounts.

No. Like I said, I created the login by mistake, and I've never bothered making another Twitter to hook up to it. Didn't occur to me till just now that this might count as a social action for which I'd need a social network. (I've been getting along perfectly well without second chances, especially now that they're not half as useful since a second chance only lets me retry the option I first tried rather than letting me retry the whole storylet and choose an easier option the second time around, and the only menace I can't reduce with a solo action in my Lodgings is Suspicion, and as long as I'm not Casing anything a prison stay doesn't hurt me.)

My main Fallen London account is currently ignoring Mr. Eaten's name having failed the last invite. But you can invite my secondary one, TheGreyOne1 (Twitter).

Though you really have to recruit people to continue? Le sigh. I like the interactive bits of Fallen London, mind you, but a bit less so when they are mandatory.

{Ewan} I am, although it's time I don't have (of course!). Watchful is now at 30, and I'm chasing my heart's desire... I suspect at some stage I will run into greater consequences of my unwillingness to involve FB and lack of Twitter - O well.

I think I'm good for the thing in the post now, but IIRC that's been the only thing that's really _demanded_ social actions. Oh, wait, there's a plant tournament thing that's entirely optional.
