The folks on the forum have turned up a genuine Easter Egg of a location, The Mind of a Long-Dead God. You need Stormy-Eyed very high to get it (19 works), which you can raise at Mutton Island, as well as What the Thunder Said (mine is 20-odd, just in the usual course of things). It appears as a storylet once you're back in London.

As hardly anyone gets Stormy-Eyed that high normally, I thought I'd mention it for the completists. I'm playing it now, it's interestingly different.

I still haven't figured out how one gets Stormy-Eyed in the first place.

Had to look it up! Go through a whole lot of dream cards--once you get What the Thunder Said 18 it turns up as a card option.

Oh, and I suspect Stormy-Eyed 14 might be enough, but I cannot swear to it. No, it's definitely 19.

18? Goody. I'm a ways away yet.

There's also a smidge of new content in Spite, under the Alleys storylet, which I haven't played yet.

The major draw here seems to be new card art; the actual story is minimal (at least the first few times through for me) and luck-driven. Cute but not deep.

I think it's part of their attempts to vary up the grinding of stats and items (see also: the airs of London are changeable), which I appreciate.

(I also like how they've moved so many things into the Alleys, to keep the main Spite page from being overwhelmed.)

Agreed. Haven't felt too grindy thus far - up to stats of around 70 - but I suspect that is going to change, looking at the requirements for e.g. some of the 4-card lodgings that are beginning to unlock!

Hee. Those used to be worse, too.
