I'm looking for two memberships to WisCon to be donated to Con or Bust, if anyone has some going unused.

--also, what the hell, Con or Bust's Tumblr account is suspended? Okay then. *opens email*

Update 2013-02-27: Tumblr account restored, no word yet on what happened in the first place and whether I was supposed to have been notified of the suspension.

I am DEEPLY curious about how the hell a Tumblr account gets suspended. Because, believe me, for completely valid reasons, I have tried, yet been rebuffed. The hell could C or B have done?

What passes for Tumblr's moderation process is a clusterfuck of incomprehensible BS, pretty much. Mocky meme-posting accounts and targets of anti-SJ backlash alike have gotten suspended, while presumably your usual brand of hate-speechy internet trolls are considered part of the digital ambiance. Some people will get their giveaway posts or hoarded URLs deleted, as if the staff are making a quiet example of TOS violaters, but the majority remain untouched.
