Like I said, it was cited for a very minor point that I missed because of sick. Perhaps someone who was there can comment.

And I don't remember skipping the framing story, I remember reading a book that literally didn't have it. Which can't possibly be right, but I think I would remember reading the framing story and deciding against re-reading it, too.
