I've been planning to give the Niccolo books a pass because they're apparently even more opaque than the Lymond books plot-wise. I intend to re-read Lymond pretty soon, I think, and I suppose I could change my mind, but it doesn't seem likely.

If I do re-read, I'll be putting reviews on the book log at steelypips.org and may well bring spoiler discussions here, since it's not quite on-topic for the Usenet groups where I would usually put spoilers. We'll see how it goes.
