I do, however, have to disclaim any special knowledge about art or manga--I have no background in either, academic or practical. Actually I think it's my ignorance that's making this series happen, since I'm trying to teach myself to _see_ the art (I'm heavily text-focused, so often skimmed right past it in prior (Western) comics) and understand how it works.
