I have seen the first and last of those. (I saw the second Alien movie, and everyone spent more time watching me jump than looking at the screen.)
Since I'd read _Silence of the Lambs_, it wasn't as scary on-screen (though making it a double-feature with _The Fisher King_ was not such a good idea). I note that it and _Seven_ are both police procedurals, and I seem to recall that they get some useful tension out of this crossing of genres?
But generally, I feel tension too much on screen to watch most things in the horror genre, and even some that aren't.
