If you're talking about the series starting with Urban Shaman, note that the second story is the novella "Banshee Cries" from the anthology Winter Moon (which prompted me to rant (http://kgbooklog.livejournal.com/39448.html) about authors adding non-optional short fiction to their series). Otherwise it's a decent series, and the third novel ended with a major violation of narrative law which really impressed me (unless she reverses it in the next book).
