Yes, hearing that the comics tend to have that relationship subsume Natasha is definitely, for me, a point in favor of dropping or vastly de-emphasizing it here, because I do think they're doing a really good job with Natasha in these last two movies (more thoughts on this to come), but I liked the theory of having the stakes and tension being evenly distributed like that.
