Be careful about touching out with your Oyster card; If you don't the system assumes that you could have taken the longest journey possible and charges for that. If you've done a few journeys and already reached the daily cap it'll make no difference, but it can catch you out. Tourists can usually claim a misunderstanding and claim it back but the time to do so is probably not worth it.
