I have to confess that it helps that I haven't read any of Rothfuss' work (I'm waiting for it to be done because I don't have the brain for big unfinished series these days) and haven't read Hobb for ages. (I wish I'd re-read _Wizard of the Pigeons_, though--I'm trying to read _Rhetorics of Fantasy_, and it's hard when I'm so tired, but it's mentioned there and I bet it would have been very interesting to discuss even if few people would have known it because it was under her prior name.)
