playlist exchange?

Chad just finished making a mix "CD" as part of an exchange run by a music fanboard he participates in, and it seemed like fun. Is there any interest in doing a playlist exchange among us all? Say, oh, at least 30 minutes; can be either listen-in-this-order or put-on-shuffle; uploading files is fine, no need for physical media; provide a loose selection of prompts & preferred/prohibited genres.

I would totally cheerlead for this and maybe steal playlists after it's over, but I don't know anywhere near enough music to actually participate.

That's cool, no problem. (I totally want to hear ALL the results. If we do this--and we're getting close to the plausible level--I'm going to put a question on asking whether people would be okay with sharing their playlists with all the participants. Of course people can post their own if they like, too!)

It would depend on the conditions? I don't have a super-large collection of music to select from, although it has a bunch of eclectic and probably not super-common things in it.

What else would you need to know besides what's already in the post? (Alternatively, I'm thinking of asking people if they'd be willing to make their requests public in case of drive-by gifters.)

Would we be supposed to do one playlsit per participant, or one for just another single participant, or just one shared?

The first one I'd have to bow out from (too much work), but the other two would be doable. More than, say, three would probably be too much.
