DW mobile-friendly style

I cannot figure out how to navigate the DW style chooser thing at all.

Is there an out-of-the-box DW style that has comment pages with bigger usernames on the comments listing than Tropospherical? Or, are you using an out-of-the-box style, and does it play nice on small screens? If so, which one?

(This is part of my project of trying to be on DW more.)

I use Practicality -- check my journal. I set my desktop with huge fonts, and its three columns stack nicely. If only I knew a way to force larger fonts on iOS.

Personally, I use Fresh Cotton (since it's a base style), but I've also done several adjustments to make it less bland and washed out, both in the options and using raw CSS. The usernames are the same size as most of the rest of the text, though.

I do think it works nicely on small screens, and I can send over my adjustments and help you get the username CSS right if you want to this route.

I've been meaning to tweak my DW for better mobile friendliness, so I'm interested in what you figure out and will share anything I come up with.

Mobility is the base style that's the closest thing to mobile-friendly out-the-box that currently exists. Some time back fu posted in dw_styles about optimising for mobile use with currently-available settings. This is being worked on but it's slow going. :-(

(The style chooser is ALSO being rewritten, and that should be going live rather sooner...)

You might also be interested in solarbird_testbed, which is an excellent work in progress, but which I had to dig a bit more to remind myself of.

I haven't had problems with my style on mobile. I think the name of it is Crossroads.
