Because clearly what my spatial-ability-deprived self needs in order to do nice clean reversible blackwork is to photocopy the chart really really big and take a pencil to it.

Also, wow do I not love Caron's cotton floss.

But all that is for a later time. Now, bed.

I've never used Caron's, prefer to stick with DMC and Anchor. What's up with Caron's?

I miss being able to cross stitch for longer than a few minutes at a time. It's getting so hard to hold the needle. *grumble*

Argh, nightmare! I've had the fraying problem with metallics, and it's so maddening! Timeless Stitches, the little needlecraft shop up by the winery, always says "Use beeswax!", but I've always found that to be more hinderance than help.

Half the reason the big heron marked blade I stitched for David years ago took so long was because the silver just really liked coming apart.

I find Caron a bit stiffer, but to me that's not bad. What bugs you about it?
