I haven't been updating for many reasons, including that keeping a personal journal seems to make the threshold to post here much higher. But I wanted to mention two media-related things:

First, for those who remember reading_genji back in the day, I have finished reading The Tale of Genji! I hated it, but I did read the whole thing start to finish. Booklog entry.

Second, via yhlee, a weekly read/listen/follow-along for The Romance of the Three Kingdoms is just starting, and it looks pretty low-key. I'm excited and I think it'll be fun, check it out!
