Right, I knew that about the single malt, but it may not have been clear so I will also edit. Thanks for finding the links, too.
And "Ms. Russell" wouldn't have signified anything fraught if she hadn't said something to cause there to _be_ a fraught atmosphere, so I think you need not worry about that. (Though usually I would totally just ask, "Do you prefer Mary or Mary Doria?", if I were concerned about that. (And if it turns out she prefers the latter, I will edit accordingly.))
