She is _besotted_ with him. She cannot go more than five minutes without giving him a kiss and a hug; any time he looks vaguely in her direction, she crows, "He's looking at me! He smiled at me! He loves me!"; she tells the entire world that she is a new big sister; etc.

This is charming, except when you're the one she's climbing on every five minutes to get to him.
