I don't think I quite follow what you're saying. Part of what I'm complaining about is that Ekaterin was a POV character in _Komarr_ & _ACC_ and then was dropped, first as a POV character and then as a character.

And, also, I don't want to read about Miles if he's going to stay the little git all his life.
