I'm really looking forward to First Night, including the Tenn reading "On Venus, Have We Got A Rabbi." I expect that'll be packed. Hope marykaykare has lotsa signs up for her LiveJournal party.
I was looking at the strong Thursday program and thinking that it would be stiff competition to anyone throwing a party that night. I once threw a party opposite a very strong Saturday night program - which culminated in a midnight live performance of Rocky Horror Picture Show - and even the Con Suite (next door to our room) closed down to go to the evening's entertainments (Masquerade, movies and trailers, concert, etc.). About the only traffic we got were the people who were coming up to get a soda from the Con Suite and stopped by us for a few minutes instead.
