Oh, that's still a bit better than me. I much prefer them smashed...although if they are twee enough I am able to catch them with a glass and put them outside. Others are "too big to live"--that's our household metric--and still others must be killed by the boy. I mean, what did I birth him for, if not to kill bugs for me now that he's big?
But I got over representations very early on, and they took on a mythical, talismanic, even totemic significance in my imagination. Hence: tattoos and jewelry.
