Peggy in the compass, sob! Steeeeeeve.
(Regarding whether Steve might die in this movie: I love Chris Evans as Cap, you know I do, but I'm not sure I trust the movies to give him any decent character arcs any more? And I'd really love to see Falcon!Cap (not Bucky!Cap, let the man return to his goats, Sam's been out there doing the work). So I'm kind of ok if this is the end of Steve.)
I feel it's a little too late to make me care about Clint Barton and his badass (??!) return.
I'm not bothering to try to figure out where in the timeline Tony's bit is, there's no point. (I had put Tony only a bit below Steve on the likely-to-really-die scale, but I'm moving him lower now.)
Meh, Scott. Also, now that we're back to the original Avengers plus . . . him? If that's really him? And presumably Captain Marvel, the movie's looking extremely white.
Finally, tweet from the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl on what we were all thinking.
I feel that I'm part of the problem for going to see this fucker opening weekend, and yet. My experience of Black Panther, a vastly superior movie, suffered for the ambient pop culture opinions of it, so to give any potential good bits the best possible chance . . .
