I think I've heard about most people I know who are coming to Worldcon, but just in case:

What's a spiedie? I googled and got, essentially, kabob, but there must be a difference.

I think they may be served in some kind of bread?

Tempting as that is, I'd probably be better off not acquiring a taste for a regional dish from a region thousands of miles away from home...

Kate,

I know that you probably have most of your WorldCon schedule mapped out, but if you have a spare minute that works, or if someone is looking for something to do, I would recommend either a reading or panel involving Lev Grossman. We met at Azkatraz and he is a very interesting person with a lot of things to say. He is a book critic for Time Magazine, blogs for them at NerdWorld, and has a book coming out in a couple of weeks that I am very much looking forward to reading. We got the first chapters in our con packets for Azkatraz and then I heard him read from the 4th and it was just about all I could do to stop myself from snatching his book and going to hide in a corner and read for several hours. The panels he was involved in all had very good turn out and response from our attendees as well.

Have Fun in Montreal and someday I will also get to a WorldCon.
