Doesn't she just? And the thing is, she *always* looks that way--it's those tan patches on the inside top corners of her eyes and the furrowed brow between. This is probably the source of much of the spoiling we do of her.
(You should see her when she's just standing around watching us do something, like cook--her front legs aren't as proportionally long as most dogs, so her shoulders always look slumped, and when she's watching us cook, her head tends to be down at the level of her shoulders or below--so she looks extremely, if you'll pardon the expression, hangdog. Most neglected-looking dog ever.)
And she's sweet and friendly, too! Though she did start barking at something in the dark this morning, which I'm sure the neighbors appreciated for the time until I could get her inside.
