I don't have time to update my "Why watch Fullmetal Alchemist" post this week, but I wanted to note that the Cartoon Network has come around again to episode one, starting this Saturday night at midnight (repeated at 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning). I still haven't finished the series (wah!), but the episodes I've seen since writing that post have only deepened my love for the show. So, in the unlikely event that there's anyone left reading this journal who hasn't tried it, go and watch!

(I know, I know, it's Saiyuki week, but recs are recs, right? Anyway, it can't be FMA week until after I've finished the series.)

WELL in my opinion Saiyuki has potential but from what i have seen eps.1 to 51, its all repeats. They fight and hit GOKU "ALOT" have there breakfast, fight demons, have dinner.... get the point. ITS A BLOODY CYCLE THAT NEVER ENDS!!

Fullmetal alchemist: yes i thought it would have had to be in my top 5, but the only thing i hated about the show, was that they stopped it at !@#$ 51.
Story was excellent and everything rolled together so it was easy to take in.

If anyone has any info on any new title of Anime PLEASE DO SO AND WRITE BACK

The manga of _Saiyuki_ is far better than the anime.

I wouldnt really know if the manga of saiyuki is better then the series.
But i guess the formatt of the story would be good.
I have saiyuki reload disc's 1 to 6 in jap. whats the point of them...is it like a continuation of the 2nd season? becuase 2nd season there trying to stop the three gods from creating a new world. im guessing there still trying to stop the king of demons from being revived in the reloaded series.
