cheesy 50s superhero voice

Oh yeah.

I guess I haven't told the backstory of the nickname? I set up an LJ filter even before I was pregnant, and had to name it something. I didn't want to call it "pregnancy" because what if we had trouble conceiving? So, hopes and plans for a baby in the future --> future baby.

And then I realized that you could say FutureBaby like Superman, and that was it for me.

I only did this in my head for quite a while, though, because I was embarrassed to admit it out loud. Chad adopted it with enthusiasm when I finally 'fessed up, though.

(We only use the superhero voice occasionally.)
