I spotted it about thirty seconds beforehand and it was so surprising yet fitting.
But this episode felt much too scanty to me, and it makes me nervous, partly because they didn't give Bismuth enough time before, and partly because surely Uzo Aduba is too big a name to regularly appear, and it's not like she's one of the fusions who they can get away with having appear briefly without speaking.
And the conversation of whether shattering is an appropriate thing to do at all, even if it's not suggesting that you shatter yourself, still needs to be had? Steven may have accepted, for a time, that Rose did shatter Pink; but that's an entirely different question from what should happen — especially since there are still threatening Diamonds out there.
So I'm worried that they aren't having that conversation — and that Bismuth's reaction to Rose = Pink was limited to the (very funny) lava scream — because they don't intend to keep Bismuth around after the wedding. And I don't want that.
Bah. Two episodes tomorrow, and then two more for the rest of season 5. We know season 6 is in progress, why has there been nothing but an Instagram comment from CN (screencap via Wikia, since I doubt the comments are at all safe)? It's making me feel like the wait for Black Panther 2 to be confirmed post-Infinity War, which is to say, paranoid for no actually good reason.
